Just curious how much time everyone's spending on the internet these days?

Since I spend most my days at home I'd imagine I use the net every day for about 4 hours, Probably more! ...Wow I must be bored >_<

And what do you net activities involve? Chat rooms? Instant messaging? porn site surfing?

how often I use the net I guess way to much
don't ask me for numbers.
for Activity's I would say I have a daily hour after getting up checking my normal chunk of site's (online comics, forums, games...).

and then I use it for gaming and finding Info's

oh and ofcrouse some female anatomy studies from time to time .

hmm I spend most of my free time online, except for when my irl friends are available and want to do something more constructive (in some cases destructive, killing braincells >:]). Actually I'm also online when I'm cg'ing or drawing, coz I can't be bothered to urn of my comp (gotta love cable ).
I'm usually checking forums, chatting (on the bakababo channel on irc, icq, and msn), looking at online art, or downloading anime

I'm on holiday (and have been for three weeks) and usually go on the net every day for about two-three hours

When I'm at Uni - it's the same thing!

Usually check my hotmail, surf gamer/film sites. Now I check out this forum as well (like you couldn't tell ) everyday as well as one other.

Oh I'm trying to get my site up so bin 'studying other anime sites'. Gotta teach me some Flash some day.

Oh yeah, certain 'bird' sites also visited sometime

I'm usually on there every day checking my mail and the Boards I participate at. Aside from that I mainly use it for downloads and as a resource when I'm trying to learn new software or HTML/Scripts etc. I don't really do any random surfing though, I use it more to achieve specific things than as a form of entertainment.

Bomu: I think I saw your brother at the pub on Saturday night, has he got a chronic goatee?

As much time as possible... but that has less to do with addiction-status, and more to do with what I get up to during the day... I'm a temp, (a secretary) and more often than not, my job is about as dull as it gets. It's quite well paid, tho, and I'm going to art college in Semptember, so I'm happy to do it.
What's good is, since I work for the Council (yes, I'm in the uk) they have the most amazing server I have ever had the pleasure of having access too...! (yay!) it's about as fast as.... erm, a very very fast thing...

only downside is I can't see anything Flash, and I can't upload. Or download. No copy of Winzip (I know, that's insane!). And I don't have the balls to download these things myself... I'm sure they'd notice.... :\

It's tricky Pixie. Have you tried asking if you're able to d/l them?

Just say you can't view Flash sites and it'd be useful if you could! I can't see how they'd think it was an unreasonable thing to ask. Just don't treat it as a big deal, just say I wanted to make sure before hand that it's ok to do so.

thanx, Bomu, but I don't think I'm that bothered... apart from about Winzip (which doesn't really matter). It just means I can only put my artwork online over the weekends from a friend's computer, or in the evenings (and I don't do that! my evenings are sacred!).

But hopefully soon I will be hosted at my mate's website... he's going to set up a gallery for me, since we're going to use his site to host the comic we're plotting...
we're always plotting something!

at least a couple of hours. There's just so much you can read/learn/do on the net.
