Demons-any excuse for a fight

Survival horror- I rip SH games by makin characters like Leonard Enkeddy,Clara and donte and my orig guy then put them in stupid scenarios with weird rip boss characters. I plan to get it up soon. I know some ppl who really wanna see it.

My main problem is that when I write my writing is designed for one of two mediums: film, or simply creative writing. The latter being written to be read on a page, the point of it mainly being word play (and such like). The former is muchly frustrating - it would make sense (certainly economically for myself!) to make a comic of my story (which is developing nicely) but it just drives me mad when I can't include the music, or the ack of sound or action. Film is not just abou what you see and hear and think, it's what you don't see hear or think too... and though composition in artwork is similar, I guess my first love will always be film...

*sigh*

and I also guess I'll never finish that story... :( which is a shame. the concept's amazing, even if it is about stoners. heh.

If you write for film don't you use storyboards? And is it that much of a jump from that to a comic?

20 years ago the military found a book, DARKFORGE. The last grimoire of the blackest magic. Since then the Pentagon has had many shadow agencies attempting to turn this into a usable weapon. The Richmond facility in rural China is one of these facilities.

After twenty years of research the facility announces a breakthrough, then everything goes quiet. All attempts to communicate are met by static. GPS and overhead recon report the facility is undamaged but its staff of one hundred army and scientific personel are seemingly gone.

Enter the Marine Special Recon Unit. Hurriedly rushed to site they have no idea whats happening inside. No clue as to why their squad suddenly contains a civvie psycic. And no idea as to what that module attached to their tac-vest injects them with every hour. All they know is they have to assess the condition of the facility and rescue any survivors. They have little support either as China will treat a buildup of American forces within their borders as an act of war.

When the second gunship is forced to land for repairs, Recon squad two is forced to make their way on foot to the facility while Recon squad one go on ahead. Tyler Maxwell and his squad 2 arrive three hours behind squad 1. The first thing they find is the tattered corpse of one of recon one torn six ways from sunday and the marks of a heavy duty firefight. Maria Aerhart the psycic touches the body and sees what the marine saw in his last moments. Feels his pain, desperation.

but I guess trying to get a good result with this limitation could be a fun and challenging job (same goes for the movement).

For storyboards and comics I have to disagree that they come very close.
I think the storyboard comes closer to the tumbnail layout drawing most comic artists do, before they start the big pages.
No sound(words), no dialog, no details.

neo uhm it sounds like the story for a very cheap scifi movie(dont worry the different between a good scifi and a bad one is often, the way how it is told and not what is told ).

It also reminds me of a outerlimit episode I zapped in.

Which was about a special forces squad that fighted aliens in a mine complex.
The squad also had to inject themself a medicine, that prevented them from falling under the control of the aliens.
One of the members has the felling that something is wrong with the whole situation tho and stops taking the drug.

She than discovers that the Aliens are human(I thing rebelling mine workers) and that the drug makes them believe they are shooting aliens.
