I don't think Angelfire allows outside linking, so it wouldn't be my first choice

ISP's should always provide webspace, mine does and it's very convenient :]

Hmm, ISP hosting - I didn't think of that one Bugsy!

Since with my current host I get unlimited space, I was thinking about creating a directory for friends and board members to upload their stuff to. Of course this would mean breaking my web host contract rules, but I don't think they'd find out I'll give it some more thought! So until then- try searching for "free web space" in Google or something and see what you get

You mean have different people log into your webspace ftp account? Coz I think they'd notice after a while, when many different ip's from all over the world log in :/
Unless you're talking about html upload :]

well if you can spare a few bucks every month I would try to get a regular webhost.
They're normaly less of a hassle when it comes to pictures and you should get enough webspace for all your needs.

what, THE Chiken? I'm not so sure he'd be too happy about that... XD

Also, angelfire and geoshitties - neither allow outside linking. Nor do large numbers of the freebee webspace places (like freeservers)... but I think everyone's right, it's the easiest (and cheapest) way of getting space to hang your art online...! also, check out where people in forums are putting their art - and if they're paying for the site. Sometimes you can find people with masses of space who'll be nice (remember unixdameons?)...

LoneWolf, welcome to the board despite the fact I haven't been keeping tabs on it! Wow, you're almost already up to fully fledged member status?

Ok, you're a friend of Pyro? Well could you two do me a favour and keep all the mini convos and in-jokes to yourselves or to a minimum at least? I just took a browse around the board and it seems several threads have just gone way off topic! I wouldn't mind, but remember this is a public forum and we all wanna join in the discussions so if ya could save the one 2 ones for private chats etc, that'd be appreciated. Cheers
