but my comp is so I will be using my Colleges comp from now on, turns out my monitor is fine, but a virus ate my video card or something like that, the tech recommended I just scrap this one and start from scratch.

A virus ate your video card? Virusses can't do that o_O;
I'd keep a close eye on that tech if I were you

huh, well was planning on getting a new comp in the first place, and well you guys need to come and take some range lessons from me. I offer free 400m and 500m courses for the aspiring sniper, but you do have to provide your own rifle and transportation to Alaska :-).

*update* after conferring with another tech, and concluding that my moniter just fried out, I am getting a new comp all together anyway. It's a Dell, but I cant remember the series number but here are the specs
1.80 Ghz Celeron Proscessor
128Mg of Ram
30Gig Hd space
CDRW (40/10/48)
whattayall think?

hm it depends ofcourse what you want to do with it but overall I would say it doesnt sound to bad.

For grafix I would add more ram tho and more than one physikal HD is never a bad Idea.
