Definately. I just had one of the most tiring weeks of the school year so far (project), and another tiring one coming up due to exams >_< In other words, I won't be around at all during that time :/

I know what you mean. Definetly seems to be less activity despite the fact more and more members are joining each month. I suppose it's just a busy time of the year... I'll still be sure to read at least 90% of treads posted tho
Im gonna get busier from now on myself due to working on a big new commission project for the next few months solid, 7 days a week! It's all really exciting stuff, but you'll have to wait 'till I've finished before Im gonna reveal what it is

you know what would really help? if my brain could directly interface with my comp so i don't spend five min forcing my lazy fingers to type on the keyboard.
also it would help if i could spell properly without having to correct mistakes every three words.

I've been playing games mostly >__>
The past several weeks were hell and every assignment had to be handed in today Xp
1 month worth of 3D Studio Max lessons which I didnt go to lol I found out later it was due within a week, 1 night to learn 3DSmax and 2 days to produce an animation X3 it was a success I'd say

lol I always leave things till the last min but once you learn the basics to Animating on 3DSmax it's easy and addictive :3
Lots of sweets and Pepsi helped me through and the thought of failing pushed me on X3 it didn't help that I sat for 16 hours working on it as my arse got pretty numb Xo
I don't have a clue on modelling tho lol
Bugsy they didn't teach any more than Animating on 3DSmax :/ it was more like a introduction to the program and enough to complete the assignment.
But I learnt everything I needed to know on the web, Google search 3D Studio Max tutorials X3

Shirai, when you animate do you use the Max Script? I tried teaching myself but can't quite get it to work. Kinematics is also another problem i have.

Even the very 3DS basics must be more interesting than what we get. We actually spent two hours on a Flash introduction, which you can learn in about 20 minutes ¬_¬; At least it was better than the Dreamweaver introduction: "And as you can see, you can also insert a Euro symbol '€', a dollar symbol '$', ...."
