I just use a windows one, a country scene thats not very interesting.

Half Life. I tried to download the half life update so I could play Counterstrike, but it wouldve taken 7 hours for 86 meg. I need a new modem.... As it stands I cant play the single player game cos it's a beta, know of any other way to get it as Freeserve cuts me off every 2 hours and I cant do a damn thingt bout it.

good question personaly I would switch to another Internet service if they cut the connection every 2hrs (if that is possible in your case).
Actually I dunno what to do if you know someone with a better connection and a cd burner I would ask him if he could download the update and give you the update

Oh just had another Idea.
Look around for a download manager, like go-zilla or stuff like this.
That way you can download a file and when it gets aborted in the middle, you can start it at the same place where it was.

Dunno about Bots did you try a google search.

ps. Try Firearms
