well, I guess some of you already know - Neo, for one! But I just had my interview for Bournemouth Uni, where I applied for a degree course in illustration... and....


They offered me a place on the spot! I didn't even have to wait for a letter! How glorious is that?? =)

hurrah! anyway, shall be back later to do more than just post this one celebrating post...

Awww, then you'll probably be too tired after all that for our dirty weekend..... and after I went to all the trouble of polishing my furry handcuffs, and hand washing my gimp mask\leopard skin thong too lol

as soon as my host site, shitfink.co.uk, is back up you will be flooded with art by me... ;) not a great deal of cartooning, it has to be said... (the disapprove of it at my college) but this summer I'm hoping to dedicate a bit more time to that sort of thing. we break up in about 5 weeks!

Congratulations Pix!

Good luck with the course. I hope the tutors there don't hold you back. I had an interview for the animation course at Bournemouth and the lecturers had a very narrow idea of what they wanted.

thanx for your replies, guys... =)

G.i.A.m - I'm working on it! Shig's being very slow... However, I'm currently working on some concepts for a comic a couple of my shitfinkian mates are writing for me (called "Petroleum Jim and his magic happy slippers" XD ) so I'll try and get those and some other stuff online asap.

Neo - XD I already have an online hubby! sorry mate...

Shirai - "and to think I almost went to Bournmouth Uni for Illustration" is that an "oh shit, I'm glad I didn't now!" XD are you disparaging me??

Slumdog - yeah, but when I went to visit Bournemouth they seemed to have a very wide view of what constitutes "illustration" - and teach a wide variety of techniques, so I'm fairly confident they'll let me have a semi-free rein... Also, I'm very new at all this arty stuff (only being studying it for a year now!) so it's all fun and new and exciting for me anyway... but I shall let ye all know how it goes!

Today and tommorrow we're hanging our work for the final exhibition - that which we are marked for. _the_ GRADE!! so I'm a little nervous. But after this, no more work for the rest of the summer! (not counting bar work!)
