Thanks guys! Honestly it only seems like a few months ago when you were wishing my a happy 20th Birthday on the forum! Hasn't time flown by?

G.i.A.m, Glad you noticed the Tutorial updates! I'm working on CGing ones, so there will be about 9 in total, starting from scanning, to finishing off a final illustration CG! Just need to write up the last 2 then I'll be ready to post within the next week or two

Ooopsie forgot too! But while I'm here I'll be sure to say Happy Birthday and nice work with those tutorials. They're really really good! Granted I didn't exactly learn anything from them per se, but it does mean that I'm doing all the computer colouring right

I'll try and draw something good this christmas for you since I forgot your birthday...

Oh yeah, there was one thing I wanted to say about the tutorials. When colouring your work, is there any particular reason why you use the airbrush tool instead of the dodge and burn tools?

Thanks once more for the B-day greets!

JBinc84, I tend to use the airbrush rather than the Burn/dodge since those tool gradually add more or less "colour depth" and multiply/screen adds more or less "darkness" but when using the airbrush, you can select your dark and light tones manually, getting a mix of colour depth and darkness!
I'll try explaining it a little better on the tutorial itself now you mentioned it. I can never word these things right!
