Since there's lotsa dune fans here, I thought that I could bring some matters up here.

Actually what confuses me is the Famine Times and more importantly, The Scattering.
Dune Heretics dosen't really talk about these issues. What had caused the Scattering? Is it beacuse of Rakis transforming back into a dune or because of Leto's death?

There's another one. The Kwisatz Haderach. What is it? Is it one of the Duncan Idahos accidental transformation into a Kwisatz Haderach because of the Bene Gesserit's mistake? Judging from the book, it must be really powerful. Help.

Actually I only liked the first book. The second one (Dune Messiah) was still okay but the following ones kind of lost my interest. It seemed like they were written for the money rather than anything else :/

currently im reading the Chapterhouse. Its the last one (at last!). Frankly thou, i cant stop reading at all until i finish all of them. Theres an urge in my brain that tells me to finish them as fast as possible.
