lol it has to be talked about, 3rd and final film what did you think? was it good for you? cause it was good for me lol

I didnt expect a battle to happen so soon but it was truely amazing, i was constantly on the edge of my seat watching the epic battle and when the ghosts arrived i was screaming in my head "YESS!" lol a unbeatable undead army is such a overwhelming sight. damn it was good

Lots of moments when a chill ran down my spine! creepy spider c_c;;; and teary moments too those were some sad stuff lol

All in all, i really enjoyed the film the length didnt bother me except when my bladder became full lol i swear it was the drinks they sold at the cinema.

I want to talk about it more but im not sure if most of you have seen it yet or not, im pretty sure Bugsy has lol *pokes*

Yes I have!!! First day in the afternoon, lol!

I loved every bit of it! I've always been a big fan of the books, and Tolkien in general (which is the reason I thought the second one was a slight letdown in respect to the book, with all the rewrites), but this, dear lord, this was awesome! They did a very good job with the rewriting (none of it bothered me), the despair and sadness was there and much stronger than I expected.

I'm still wiping off the drool as I'm writing this. The battle scenes were beyond imagination, Helm's Deep is a stroll through the park compared to the Battle of Pelennor Fields (even though the orc leader looked like molten wax on a pig)!

Indeed, the length didn't bother me either. I'm looking forward to the extended edition, will it last 4 hours?

Ugh, I want to see all three again, should've saved some money for the lotr-marathon >:(

lol i got to read the books now, but yeah the extended dvd will be about 4 hours

ive already seen the 2nd extended dvd and there was so much story that was cut out! like how Aragon was something like 83years old wasnt expceting that.

Some stuff i wanted to know on the 3rd film, what happened like what happened to King Theoden after he died, did he get a burial or something? and Faramir(sp?) what happened to him after his dad went nuts lol went down in a blaze of glory

oh oh that wraith in all his neat armor lol he got disposed of sooo easily, hobbit stabbed him in the butt and i was expecting his head to come flying off but that girl stabbed his face instead lol

oh, ROTK, word.

the movie was badass. pelinor fields blew me away. They only cut out like 2 things that i can remember from the books. oh yes an awsome movie it was. i'm loven it.

Yeh, I watched it today as well. Such. a. cool. film. especially with the ghosts. they rule. hehe

saw it yesterday and I must say that was pretty thight.
I guess Cinema finaly can do visualy create something better then our imagines

, but the book tells definitve more about the inside of the characters.
Why they did certain things or how hard it realy was to bring that ring up there to the mountain.

yeah. books are always better. more insight, more of a story. and they cut things out for movies, lots of things in the LOTR case.

Yeah they left out the cleansing of the shire part in the end (but I expected that, since the end would drag on too long in that case) but then they go on and show us some Frodo/Sam slow-motion close-ups, which make the end even longer (and quite frankly I started to doubt that Rosie was the person Sam really wanted to marry

)
But damn I wanna see it again soon.

actually I was rather pleased to notice that the whole episode in this weird forest int the first part was cut out (imo it had not much to do with the story and I hated the songs).
But I realy mean more on the feeling part. Take the journey of frodo and Sam in the book it is very well described how the ring gets heavier and heavier, how it tries to cloud frodos mind and so on.
While I think people who dont know the books missing important stuff like that(to them it propably looks more as if they are simply exhausted from the hard way).

Oh and I know what you mean Bugsy a friend actually suggested that hobbits have such big feets because they store their tear fluids in them .
