I noticed a few days ago on a labtop i just got last week tuesday paint shop pro and i dont know how to use it I think I should stick to adobe photoshop 6.0 on my windows 98 desktop but i dont know how to get it installed into the laptop without using it in the C.D. drive. Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! before I rip out my hair lol!

I suggest you install Photoshop 6.0 (or up, ie 7 or CS) on your laptop
I dunno what's the problem with your CD drive. Just insert the CD and install :

Hm what version of PSP do you have (if you are unsure you can find it in help--about).

If it is an older version it might be a good idea to get photoshop on the laptop (if PSP is older than version 7 depending on what you want to do).

Otherwise tell us what you want to do with PSP, might be easier to explain how you can achieve this certain thing then.

I'd always stick with what you know and carry on with Photoshop. Altho I've seen some fantastic results with PSP.

As far as installing stuff without a CD drive, downloading from the internet's the only way. I wouldn't know where to find Photoshop on the net and you'd need a fast connection to downloadf all 500MB of it or whatever it is..
