Cheers every one!, My mother bought me and my sisters portable MP3 players(not lap top but it's free for me and i can carry all my fav tunes along). this will come in handy for detention :P i would very much recomend buying one they have really nice sound and they hold 100 hours of music.

o and if u wanna know the model i bought witch i would not recomend if you are computer challenged lol anyways the model is " RCA LYRA RD1021 " comes with 64 megs of memory.{+ u can buy memory cards if u are going on a long trip they only take 1 AAA battery thats the heavest part of the whole syestem.

(WARNING!) :If any of u buy this model be prepered to have to listen to a really gay song they put on it.

I want one of'em HP usb stick-players. Kinda convenient to have a quality mP3 player and a usb stick in one X3

Ya these Mp3 players are really great and the battery life of mine is really good! 1AAA and it's been 2 hours and the power is at Full wow! (if u ever get a chance try the I mac Ipod those are amazing i tried one in london drugs about a week ago holy fug nug that was cool they can store 400hours i was very impressed.

Sounds good. I'll probably consider a portable MP3 player in a year or so. My girlfriend and her dad both had players, but they managed to break them after a few months! I dont know the details, but think it happened by formatting the player, then it not recognising it as a portable media device when plugged into their computer's USB port..
Just got myself a new (but fairly cheap) phone on ebay. I'm looking forward to putting a few of my own ring tone midi files on there. I'm a bit behind when it comes to technology, and am getting excited at the prospect of people calling me and the Pac-Man theme tune starts playing as my ring tone x()

I have a mini disc player which is cool but it only holds 3 albums per disc, its much lighter than an ipod though.
Never realy liked pacman ( I know im the only one ) but I do have the starting music for street fighter 2 as my ring tone .
