English exams smell, immensely. Just why the hell can't I take a book in??? How am I supposed to write a decent essay if I have to remember obscure quotes from whatever character at any time? Whose idea were exams anyway??? Driving tests, fine, I kind of understand, but academic exams?? Not exactly a great test of research skills. Sorry about the rant guys, needed to vent my frustration about exams on the Friday 13th (I s*** you not) and Friday the 27th. Good luck to anyone else who's got any right now.

Exams do indeed suck! I'm just glad that i have finished my degree and have no more exams ever Woo!!! Well except the ones for my PhD but they are just presentations and viva's.
And the reason they do exams like they do is because if they did it all on course work then you could copy somebody else or get help and the marks wouldnt be representative of your abilities... not that exams give a good representation of ones abilities either but its all your own work!
Anyway good luck for the hell that is soon to come!

-------------------- Ezekiel 25:17
The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

Silent, dont worry about your GCSEs when you finish and go onto other things you will look back and think wow did i really find that hard! And the most important thing to remember is if you have a degree who cares about your GCSEs
