Hey guys, just a quick message to let you know I'm gonna be in London at the IMAF festival this year on the 22nd of October, so if anyone here fancies meeting up, let me know!

I was there last year, had some of my work exhibited and even managed to win one of the $5,000 prizes for the contest held. Not to mention meeting up with Angelo and a few other web buddies for the first time

Yeah all sounds good apart from me being no where near london! Though the pub would be nice although I would think that perhaps some of the membership are a little young to go drinking! But I suppose we could always give them a coke But anyway back on topic ummm I dont know if I will be able to make it all depends on what else I have to do that weekend and how much it will cost to get to London. After all I'm a poor student!

I'm ok getting there its just finding a place to stay the night. Where are you guys staying and how much is it costing you?
I dont think I want to stay in a youth hostel/crack house again.

Cool, yeah I wouldn't mind a a pub session afterwards- They may even have a bar at the event... will see how it goes.

As for arranging somewhere to stay in London, you could try checking out hotel/ accomodation websites? With the wonders of modern technology, you can even book online for a lot of hotels. I'd imagine staying in London it gonna be pretty expensive no-matter where you go..

I'm not staying overnight as it's a just a few hours of travel time each way for me from Kent.

Also, if you think you can make it, PM or email me to swap mobile numbers to arrange meeting times etc

wow i didn't know you guy's existed :goes up and hugs both but realizes the gayness and backs the hell off while being threatened of being badly wounded
damn i couldn't go even if it was hosted in america. my mom wouldn't let me unless it suddenly was rescedualed to be in downingtown... <= this is a REAL use for that smiley.

There's another sci-fi and anime event going on in London this weekend 27-28th called Expo http://www.londonexpo.com/ not sure if I'll be able to make it tho.

unfortuatley me and my freind debby can only make the saturday or sunday of IMAF, living all the way up here in Bedlington is abit of a trek just to come down for 1 event let alone 2. but we have 5ish months till its happens. and evilone, ur not gonna catch sum kinda disease off me u know
