I was wondering, you said on your site it takes you days on a drawing..is that acutual drawing,or finding a poses,sketching,redrawing,inking,and then coloring?

anybody else is welcome to stater thier time use too.

Yeah, usually to do lot! Where did I say that by the way? Just curious

Sometimes if I'm drawing techincal detail such a backgrounds it can take 3-4 days of drawing time alone! Of course that's not solid 12 hour days but maybe 4 or 5 hours a day? I never really time myself minute for minute, but just know drawings can take a long time! If you get isn't it, it's not so bad but if you're not relly in the mood to draw, the fact it takes so long can put me off even starting >_<

Q. How long should I spend on a picture?
A. It varies depending on the size, detail and your general drawing speed. Don't be scared to work on a drawing for more than an hour. If you want to progress, take time to make sure everything looks real, if you're adding a background, don't rush it. The longest I've ever spent on a pencil drawing has been a good 20 hours solid. If you're doing manga or comic sequential pages, but prepared to spend anything from 3 - 12 hours pencilling alone. Be patient with your picture. If you're getting sick of drawing, leave it for a while and come back later.
From your FAQ.Guess 20 hours wouldnt be days but whatever...

Hm...I've worked on a single pencil drawing for a couple of weeks before, drawing 2-3 hours on it per day (not every single day, but pretty darn close). Usually though, if I'm doing a CG, I spend a couple of hours on the sketch, then at least 3 or 4 hours on the CG. If I digitally ink, that adds another 3 or 4 hours (at least). I haven't taken anything lately through all three steps (sketch, ink, CG), but the MVGC pic I did took about 10 hours to go from blank paper to finished CG. I'd say that's probably about average for me...I don't work all that fast.

yup full projects normaly takes more than a week.

Depending on the colorstyle it can take a week to color a single drawing for me. the pencils propably another week (longest part is the stick figure fleshing out).
Inks are fairly quick, one day (if I screw it another day ).

aww man i wish i had PATIENCE. if i'm gonna do a drawing (just the pencil bit) then i have to do it all in one go. the most i've ever spent is three hours. Once i've left a drwaing i can NEVER get back to it. i'm always on to something new.

grr..........

CG'ying usually takes me max five hours. I just CAN't spend longer on one piece. Maybe my work would improve if i took the time.
