Hi. Ive got twenty full colour pieces of quality art here and no way to post it on the site for ur perusal. I have no scanner, a damaged pc and not enough dosh right now to mend it. I would like 2 know if there is any way to send it by regular post for display on organic metal. I know its a bit inconvenient but humour me plz.

i'd help you out man but i'm off to Uni soon and won't have a scanner up there with me (my old scanner don't work with my Mac). Maybe if some of the others have any spare time they could help you out.

hm good question, I would try to find a Scanner you can use around your area first.
Maybe friends or people at your work/school have one, or a copyshop has a scanning service.

Otherwise it would good to know where you'r from and what size your drawings are normaly first.

Thats sad but I guess I'm kinda out, could get pretty expensive for us to get drawings over here and back otherwise I would do it.

Hm on second thought If you dont mind making a color copy (that way I dont have to send stuff back)and the costs are not too much for you, I would help you.

Sounds like your best bet would be to save £500 for an ok computer and a nice little scanner to go with it! Trouble is, It's the expensive option, so not really an option!Other than that - Look up printers in the Yellow pages. Phone 'em up and see if they can do scans for you onto floppy. Or try another net cafe!

If all else fails, I'd be willing to scan a few bits for you and upload them onto the web. As I say, send a paid for self addresses envelope (one of those stiffy ones) if you want them back, or as Giam said, send copies

It's just a shame you're not me - I have 100s of scanners available, either though friends, work mates, or shops. I reckon I could even sneek back into my old school and use thiers if I wanted!

Don't you still have my address from before, when you were gonna send me some stuff? I'll send it over again if you still want tho, so you can send me a few bits to scan.

You're thinking of Katsuhiro Otomo's "Domu, A child's dreams" My user name has been Bomb (aka bomu) for the past 4 or 5 years. I just added the child's dreams bit for my own amusement!

Ok, Neo. Yes, I'm Ben! It's never really a case of not being bothered, just a case of needing to prioritise myself. I've always got a lot on my plate and try to put stuff which immediately effects my life at the top of the list- if that makes sense!

It's a long list but I'm slowly but surely getting there
