This is going out to all the members. What form do you think the strictly forum contest should take. In other words, the forums version of the MVGC (we arent replacing it, this is one just for us forum peeps). What do you all want as our forum monthly art submission thingy ?.

Hmmm, we could always run some sort of 'theme-related' contest eg Christmas, Valentine's Day, Action pic, Romance pic etc. (if u don't get me, ask as part of a reply, and I'll be happy to elaborate). This would be quite broad, because we could use any character we wanted, including one of our own created ones. Opinions please.

Themes are the best plan IMO. Problem is, they'd get kind of boring if we just used holidays and stuff. I dont think we should have an organised theme at all, we could all vote our opinions beforehand and have someone unbiased like one of the funky mod guys, who'd have the final say. That way it's never structured around one persons tastes alone.

Yeh, fair enough. I mentioned other things besides seasonal things, like action and romantic pics, which, I felt, fell under themes as well. That idea to get a moderator to judge is a good one - let's see what they think.

hm I once had the Idea for something.

The idea was to have a challenge thing, where you have to draw something with improving curtain aspects of drawing.
Like drawing a tree, create a character for a game, draw from the image provided and stuff like this(so both drawing from realife and fantasy).
The challenge would change every two weeks, to give people who visit not that often a chance to participate.

Unlike a full drawing contest, however the result quality would be in a fashion that it can be made in a few minutes.
As alot people on here seems to be allready too busy attending a contest.

You could post as much as you want and people could give tips and ideas how to improve.

As for themes, how about using zodic signs or Chinese year animals? But yeah- Members suggesting different themes and the Mods deciding which ones to use each month sounds good.

- Shirai, it was RPG chara creating The interest kinda faded so it was left to die But it was fun!

i mean thats what made me join in the first place, besides there are alot more people now. So why not have a vote to see if it should come back?

The only problem with the rpg thingy was that it was depending on single people.
When one guy in the chain didnt finished his work the whole thing had to suffer.
