Just out of curiosity, how did you moderators become... err, moderators? Did you know Bomu for awhile before, or were you some of the first members (well, yes, but you know) just wondering...

I know this question was targeted towards bomu and the mods, but i had asked the same question like 2 days ago and the answear i got was. Both Bugs and G.I.A.m were choosen since they both gave good advise and such"kinda the perfect citizen in sense" also Bomu had known Bugsy on a diffrent board before so that kinda helped. well i hoped I saved some time for the mods and such later.

What Tri said! Although I don't think either initially wanted to become mods! But they've helped a lot and although they're able to delete any post they personally don't like, or edit any message they don't agree with, they don't abuse this power

I dunno if anyone else can pick up on this, but after a short while, you can get a good feel for a particular member's personality and if you're choosing mods, that's something you always need to consider.
