Hello, I'm James. I was looking through your portfolio, loving it, and something struck me:
I would love to be able to CG like you, but I don't have the slightest idea how. Instead of taking all the time (which I don't have) to learn it, why not just ask a simple question... do you do callaborations?

Of course, this is still a commission, I'll pay full price just for your CGing. I can pencil and ink a drawing, email or snail mail it to you, and you can CG it. Please let me know your take on this. Till then, take care. -James

Hi James, Thanks for your request. Yep, I've done collabs like this in the past, be it sequential comic pages or covers / pinups. My email's been down all week, so I may have to send you a PM at some point to discuss

I feel so dumb. After I left that first message, I went on looking throughout the site and found out that you do DO stuff like I was asking. So my commission wasn't as interesting as I thought it would be. I just absolutely love your CG style, I think it's better than the way Image comics adds color to their stuff. Well, it would be a pinup, and you can decide whether you want me to send it to you as a sketch, penceled, or inked. Thanks again, keep in touch, as will I.

Cloud u don't listen to well do u ? i think like 4 people have told u to stop posting spam posts/pointless post/meaningless posts. is there somthing wrong with this idea ?
or r u choosing to ignore every one ?

am not trying to be a bitch am just wondering y u find in so important to spam post. U won't be forgotten if u don't post 4 a day, or if things r slow u don't have to make up 4 the loss of intrest.

Bomu newbies seem to get worse ever time.

I think Tri_kento was just referring to Cloud. He's only been here a month so is still new to the board despite the post count and member status! -It takes a while for younger members to get broken in to forums.

Since many web forums are dominated by adults or people in their late teens (Organic Metal is, at least)- there is a certain level of maturity as well as a mix of fun and general interest It can take a while for new or young members to get to grips with this and in the mean time it can become annoying

By all means, keep things fun. After all, the forum is for the members rather than myself. But I do wonder, if we can raise the maturity level, it stops driving away existing members and could start attracting some established names within the art community similar to the likes of the Eatpoo forums. Having a few pros hanging around is something which would benefit existing members when it comes to art critique. Just a thought..

It was just some dry sense of humor on my part, no worries. And thanks for checking out my art at FAC, Mr. Bomu. Speaking of which, in your next email, can you tell me a little about your standards on copyright laws when it comes to callabs. Even though, FAC won't let me post the commission on the site unless I did it all myself, they take art thieves very seriously, they even have an entire forum dedicated to punishing them (Wall of Shame).

i do listen but i keep putting stuff up because I have nothing to say (gonna get some asty remarks for sayin that) so i post something that I'm thinking I'm sooooooooo sorry I won't do anything like that again. k? plus I have been on this site for like two years after I followed the link from Dan's site I didn't know it was Ben from "the new awesome manga book I just bought". plus I work just fine with forums but I still need a little training. Oh, and Bomu- THAT BOOK WAS THA FIRST I BOUGHT AND THE BEST OUT OF ANY I'VE SEEN!!! it tought me all the basics but i still can't do bodies very well..

Well tha maind idea of posting on a form is to give ur opinion on a subject, not just spurt spamming. if ur so into getting a high rank, don't worry about. People here don't judge u on ur rank it's on how long u have been here and teh quality of feed back u give. not the quanity.

- I have no problems with you posting it on the web. FanArtCentral shouldn't have a problem with collaborations either (providing all artists involved have agreed to the work being published on the web). Art theft is simply people claiming to have created a work which was in fact created by another artist. I'm sure you would be happy to credit me for any colour work I do so that wouldn't be a problem

I'd love to credit you on Fanart Central, plus it may bring more business to your door. There are hundreds, if not thousands of members over there. Meanwhile... I've came up with a pose for Rheka, and I'm sketching it out now (would you prefer me not to mention the commission on the boards, instead, just in our emails?). I just keep getting more excited about the project every time I think about it, sorry. I'll be sending you an email later, or tomorrow maybe, answering your last email, I still need to make a few arrangements. But I'm sure everything can and will go smoothly.

hey hey keep it clean u wipper snappers *shakes fist* lol. I don't know about mod? I'd be glad to but i don't think bomu is highering... he has 2 all ready and that's should be enoughe, tho bugsy hasn't been on 4 like 1/2 a year... where did that crazy penguin go ?
