Right, If you think about it everyone (me included) never post finsished pictures that have backgrounds. so what i was thinking was: open 2 new forum options; backgrounds in progress and finished backgrounds! I don't know if you'd want to but its just an idea.

It's not a bad idea, but if you or anyone else wanted to post background art in the existing art forums, there's nothing stopping you and I'm sure people would still be as happy to check it out.

True i wouldn't rage on anyone, backgrounds are just as much art as any other drawing. go for it.

Sometimes people just don't draw backgrounds on their pics (like me), but I guess it makes sense- if you want to show your drawing before you've done the background, you can post it as a background in progress and then later add the background.

Hmmyeah I think posting them in the present forums works well enough, and it would boost the activity in them. We joined several forums some time ago for that and some reasons, and it would be odd to go back in time
