I have a few annoying spam-ish questions for you (J/j, but I always wanted to know these...):

  1. Why did you pay $300 for a forum instad of using a free one like phpBB or YaBB?

  2. How did you find out about anime and manga?
  3. What's your favorite food?

  4. When did you start drawing?

  5. Could I find most of these things out on your prfile section on Organicmetal.co.uk? (probably)

  6. How fast do you type?

  7. What anime's do you own?

  8. What's ur fav anime?

  9. How did you get photoshop?

- Yeah, no probs...

Why did you pay $300 for a forum instad of using a free one like phpBB or YaBB?
A: Can't Run phpBB as I don't have MySQL on my server B: I tried Yabb last year, but didn't like it as much as UBB- wasn't quite as easy to use and not as easy to upgrade/hack. C: I didn't pay for UBB

How did you find out about anime and manga?
- Just happened to stumble across it via comics and video games. I then bought some anime vids on VHS (Fist of the North Star, Battle Angel Alita to name a few) and have been hooked since.

What's your favorite food?
Read my Q&A page! - Question 37

When did you start drawing?
Read my FAQ!

Could I find most of these things out on your prfile section on Organicmetal.co.uk? (probably)
- Yes too lazy to check it?

How fast do you type?
- about 30 words per minute?

What anime's do you own?
- about a few dozen on VHS.. I plan on updating with DVDs soon. Too lazy to list.

What's ur fav anime?
-See the Q&A page again...

How did you get photoshop?
-I have friends who can take care of my software needs

Cloud: I did a few favours for a friend and he gave me UBB.

Tri: I don't usually like to talk about money publicly, but it's an old project, so I don't mind letting you know I earned £3000 (I think!) on the Tennis Stars art

Tri- Spent half on a new PC and ended up putting the rest towards a brand new Ford Ka Luxury! (I must of mentioned that at some point?)

These bigger jobs payments are great, but as you say, most of the money ends up going towards paying the bills. I also just won $5000 US in an art contest I entered last year- check out my site blog for the full story

I think a lot of people say that. I did, I'm always waiting to get better and never willing to take the plunge!! I guess it's mostly about confidence, which is something I don't (and I think a lot of artists) have a terrible lot of. Do you think you will know when the time is right?

I think I'll be ready when I get accepted into Epilogue or maybe one day in the far future, the elites of GFX artist (or maybe I'm just dreaming....)

Ben has definatly come a long way, I remember when he was upset about not being able to sell a Sasami picture on e-bay. I still to this day think those people have a way of cheating, though hardly anyone sells art on ebay any more. From what I've seen artists definatly don't get their moneys worth.

I feel once I improve on the things I have the most troubles with(such as eye's hair few others like face lines I'll be able to call my self a amiture artist. Past that i think i have a steady hand. all my art teachers said i had some real talent i should try and make it one of my main focuses. Tho i don't think am a real manga type drawer. tho i'd like to. it seems comical characters are my thing, if u remember my alex picture that was proubly my most..... right drawing(it was the first drawing that came out just how i thought of it.

but anywho am really good at makeing webpages. I got my own section in computer camp were i taught some people about it web design and basic media needs and such.

but i think we should stop posting here since this was more of a"QUESTIONS TO BOMU" typr thread eh ?

I was going to read all of these post but im too lazy.

Bomu: Didnt you say some time back you can actually make an anime for about 20,000? Next time you get a big check i say make your anime. Then you'll get a bigger check. Oh i also wanted to thank you Bomu. When you had the mvgc going on you made one of your rules no copying or tracing. You know lots of people do this exact thing when they draw. You taught me to study the character and how it looks then draw it in a different way then the original pic. Its taught me so much because i just finished drawing some badass pics with no reference material and its all thanks to you. Just had to let that out...

Tri : Yeah, cool coincidence about the KA! and good luck if you do go into any freelance stuff- it's bloody hard going but if people are happy to pay you money for doing what you love, go for it!

KaiserD: Lol- That Sasami Tenchi fan art was years ago, but yes- took me a day to complete and I eventually sold it for something like a tenner!

Erock: Glad the MVGC helpped you out! Tracing and copying other's pics is all good for fun when you're young, but if you can't make up your own designs, you can't really call yourself an artist.

As for making my own anime~ I'd like to but I'd also like to move out into my own house so will probably be putting any more profits I get via artworking into my savings account. I know- how boring am I?! But it'll hopefully pay off in the long run.

Ezekiel 25:17

The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

Bomu - the plan to move into your own house sounds a helluva lot like what I want to do after I finish uni. Not that I have anything against family, just once you savour the taste of independence, you don't want to let go of it.
