Well if my reading skillz haven't failed be, i bealive he plans to close the board for a while, which is a tab bit sad. but i spos we'll all have to get a life now.

I think it'll be closed indefinately; a re-launch may or may not happen later on. Tho I'm not sure, I only read it there as well.

i don't want to lose all the friends on the message boards! BOMU UR TOSSING US ASIDE LIKE WE'RE JUST SOME KIND OF TOY. o and bugsy since i don't think you got it when i mentioned about the episode in family guy, it's the one where stewy:
smashes a glass of oj in brian's face
kickes him in the side
smashes his head with the towel holder
dunks his head in the toilet bowl
kickes him down the stairs
hits him with a golf club
shoots him in both knees
and then sets him on fire with a flamethrower

That's the idea. Sorry if that sounds harsh. If anyone is looking for a place to post messages and art, perhaps try sites like the Polykarbon forum?

OM is due to change servers next month, and I expect all the member data will be lost. I'm afaid the forums wont be re-installed unless there's enough demand for it. Luckly, it's come at a good time when there's only a few members frequenting the board each month.

If anyone has any further issues with the forum closing, by all means use this thread to post them

the forums has always been a very small forums but that's really what made us a family. Please don't take away my family, my forums, and sadly a big chunk of my life!
no seriously my birthday is next month. and YOU will make it depressing!
you know what? i've always wanted to meet bomu, unless he's a scary petifile

guess i'll never get that chance.

Hi Evilone. Deciding the close the forum is nothing personal. The whole Organic Metal site will genuinely be swaping servers and after it does it'll probably be for the greater good that the forum isn't resurected. It'd take time to re-upload, configure and get it working like a message board should. I need to spend my time doing other stuff.

...Also, you're welcome to come see my puppies any time. My bedroom is also full of candy- be sure to stop by soon

i live in america, i'm 13/14 years old and i live with my parents. do you HONESTLY THINK THAT THAT WILL BE POSSIBLE?! and besides that was desturbing, 'plenty of candy' o_o

Well Bomu, am a little pissed off the form is closeing, but i do understand the strain of running boards/ other online affiliates that tend to be demanding on ur personal time. So in broad look, I understand a wish best wish towards the new server, But I'd recomend that for everyone who signed up for the updates email thing, u send an email out a few weeks before board closeing and also send one out for a restart or if their is a prospect of a restart in the near future if such happens.

(but in the mean time, that gives me time to pay attention to my studies and autobody work..yea!

Anyway, On a serious note, I know I'm not exactly a frequent poster but I do read most of the threads, and yes, I'm sad the OM forum will be closed too, because that means that non-conformists have no where to go now. I like little indie sites like these because of the few regular members because it makes the forum seem a lot more personal rather than feeling like you're lost in cyberspace.

Anyway, I'm not going to change your mind, Bomu, because after all it's your website so I'll just say thanks for the short time I was on here.

Hmm about other good sites, guess you gotta go search =] for a good one atleast.. =[ bigger sites just seems so off compared to a smaller art site/board, like you're actually noticed if you're good or not- and not just if you're good at drawing.
