I know what ya mean Akatt, but that's Geocities for ya. Glad I'm not with them anymore! It's not a case of changing the extensions, but creating a html page with the picture embeded. I know a tip tho. Click the link, then in the address bar delete the www. Click enter, then it'll load!

Tugi, I like the Mech-suit one better than the warrior, but dunno how to effectively rank you.. I mean, compared to Masamune Shirow, you're a 1, compared to the majority of my mates, you're an 8/9!
Oh, and I have no idea what you were like before these, so for all I know, you could see them both as masterpieces!

It's obvious you need more practice though. I'm sure you agree, but don't let that put you off drawing. I'm sure ya got the ideas, but it's the translation from mind to matter that you're gonna need a lot of work with.

Outta curiousity; Do you have plans to get to a certain skill level with your art? Have you been drawing long? Do you mind critisism? What level do you honestly think your at?

Hey Bomu it worked.

Tuigi like the ideas you got with your drawings. And don't worry you can only get better. The first thing to do is stop putting yourself down. Take note of the following quote i found somewhere. I think it's pretty cool:

"if you think you will fail a battle before starting it ,then you have already lost"

it's by -oh hang on - it's by you!

to get better one way is to find an artist you admire and start copying their work. I know that copying other people's tuff seems cheap but it's the best way to learn - (at least i think it is). Don't stop posting.

Sounds like my friend Dan from school! He's at the same level and has been for ages. I guess it must take longer for some to improve than others. I get frustrated at how bad I am compared to a lot of people younger than me and I still havn't figured out a way to get on par with them quickly. I suppose there's always gonna be people way better but if you enjoy it, that's half the battle.

tuigi, maybe you should try drawing more from life- draw a few portraits of yourself, friends or memebers of your family every day. Trying to mimic the stereotypical anime style might be throwing you a bit? It's always important to get the basics down, then you can move into a more hardcore style. Just an idea
