Hey all, sweet, it's Friday!! I thought I'd give another go at doing a semi-realistic portrait (first picture). It really sucks cuz it just doesn't look right to me.
There are tons of errors and I can't find a way to fix em. Especially the jaw line area. I was fooling with it forever. I'm sick of looking at it, so I hope some1 with a fresh pair of eyes can help me figure out what's wrong
The second picture is one I did a while ago, but never finished. I'm considering it done now tho! It's a close-up of a dude's face.

hey man, cool work. with the girl i think it might help if you made the shadows more darker. This would help define her jaw. Also maybe the eyes are a bit too far apart??
The old dude looks really cool. Is this part of a larger pic or is that the whole? Personally i caqn't see anything wrong with the old dude, but let the others see. Nice site by the way, tho your gallery is down.

They're looking great - the fact you havn't left a lot of white areas around is definetly a bonus. I agree that the 2nd pics looks fine, but the first... Hmm, there's something really strange about that one. Firstly , I thought she looks a little odd - slightly disproportionate factical features. Then I thought it looked really scary almost like one of those kids from the "Come to Daddy" music video by Aphex Twin *lol In that sence I'd leave it and say she's ment to look like that ^o^

Hey all, thx for the feedback! She does look freaky looking heheh I tried to make a few adjustments, I think it turned out alright (ha!). The freaky/scary look wasn't intended, but I sorta like it now heheh.
Anyway here's the update. I changed the placement of her eyes, the cheek marks, her jawline, and did some other minor fixes.
