If this one turns out good im going to enter it into a contest I think, if not then whatever, still somthing I can add to my portfolio.

Anything you can suggest, or critique that I can fix (I can see a few things now that i've merged it and uploaded it). Feel like im missing somthing.

Right now im planning on having about 3 bands of light in the background. Im thinking about making a circular blue haze where the ground would be, then putting some pattern over it (so it would look like the floor is made of tiles or somthing and glowing blue... hard to explain).

I was going to draw some robots in too but im not sure how to tie them into the scene. Im going for an inventor/scientist sorda look, wanted to make that more clear.

*edit* Made abunch of changes and uploaded it again, including the ground, a shadow, and those streaks of light 'n such. SO it's about finished already, but I might try for somthing better and start over.

Looks really cool Keith! Nice pose and colour choice. What was the contest brief?

One thing I noticed, which made me laugh was the fact he's wearing loafs of bread on his shoulders You might wanna change the colour of those to grey from brown or something- would be handy if he got hungry though.

Bomu, it's the contest thats up at anime2k right now, although im not sure that I will actually enter this particalur picture into it.
LOL@ the bread loafs, but your kinda right if you look at it that way. I will experiment with different colors and see what works best to make them look more like armour or somthing.
I'll be the first to admit that I didn't put too much thought into the accessories. He looks like he's holding a pokeball or somthing, and his clothing doesn't work too great. I was originally going to try with a trench coat but couldn't get it right, but I might end up trying anyway. Drawing another guy wont be too hard, and I can keep the background too probably.

Looks great, I dont have much to add only the standard linewight mantra

and it needs a clean up, there are parts where the color goes clearly over the line borders.
