this is my latest piece of work. i was gonna finish it before i showed you guys but it's taking me awhile to cg so here's the pic so far.

the lines a crap because i have ta scan off of my sister's comp which is really low spec. also i really wanted to practise cging so iyt doesn't bother me.

any c&c with welocme as i might be able to rectify it since it isn't finished.

I really like how you blocked in the the shadows and highlights. They really bring the image out. Can't wait to see your progress!

Akatt, This must be 50 times better than your first work. Yeah, I remember it Drawing and Cg seems to be comming along in leaps and bounds! Really like the colours you've picked for this one- and those light shines on the shoulder armour are looking really cool. Only think that sticks out like a sore thumb is her arms- way too shot for the rest of her body.
Any chance I can persuade you to enter the chara design event for round two? 0_o

Yeah, her arms seem short compared to the rest of her, but that's about it.

The coloring is coming along really good so far, I really like the highlights on her shoulder-pad!!

You picked the colors really well and I like her hair-style too!!!

Can't wait to see this one finished!!!

thanks everybody for replying.

i really wanted to practice my cg skills so i didn't even bother cleaning up the image.

Bomu - yeah, it is better than my previous efforts. and here's the secret (or part of it anyway) - i spent more time. Usually i cg a pic in above five hours max and at one sitting. The above work has taken me a whole week to do!! that's the longest i ever spent on a single pic.

Oh, and the arms..funny that...usually i notice something that obvious after a while but i didn't see it until you guys mentioned it.

i'll try and finish this but i've started experimenting with another type of cg style on a new piece So it may be awhile

Its not 100% but its still high quality.
I think its good despite the arms
and no background. Dont give up
uve plenty of potential.
