A DBZ fan, eh? I don't really know much about DBZ but the character defo looks like one of them. If you're gonna shade with pencil i reckon you should spend more time on it trying to make it smoother. right now it looks a bit sketchy. er...i'll leave the rest up to someone 'into' DBZ

checked out your other stuff as well and you've got some pretty good concepts. You seem to kinda like drawing muscly guys so i suggest you find an anatomy book and study 'real' bodies. this'll help your pics look better. btw i think your other DBZ pic's lineart is better than the one above.

thanks, I really like DBZ, but like you said I am more into the muscular people, since I have like, no skill drawing girls. BTW I have seen some of the CG works on this page, I wish I had Adobe or somthing like that can anyone tell me a good prog to use, that is at least decently affordable? thanks.

looks not bad,
maybe the muscles are a bit much.

I don't think tho, that the very heavy black lineart works so well with the soft tranculent colors of the colored pencils.
Maybe do the drawing with a soft pencil and color it then

for some programs

Artgem relativ simple with a unique interface.
It has the basic functions for coloring lineart (layers with blendmodes), and the airbrush seems to be somewhere inbetween Photoshop and PaintShop Pro.

Paintshop Pro some say it is the next best thing besides Photoshop, others say it is bullshit.
Well it is the program I use for my stuff, so you can guess what my opinion is.

the gimp is a linux program, but there is a windows port aviable here.
The interface is pretty unique, which can mean that it will take time to get the crasp on it.

Also the windows version is relativ unstable (atleast last time I checked it), but it is free.
