You sure have improved alot, since the last picture you showed us (I wish I had improved that much in the last half year :glare .

Ok enough of the praise, time to bring you down abit .

The arm that is closer to the viewer looks a little bit to beefy in my eyes.
Especial where the lower part starts (only a few mm tho).

And I think that her hand would look better if you show the ending of the index finger.
Right now people could think that it goes till the knee cap.

Oki thats all, looking forward to see her finished (in color).

Oh and be proud of yourself improving that much isnt easy.

thanks, man... I've been working hard. And, have to admit, using TONS of reference pics... not REALLY for this one per se, but still. It helps me.

See what you mean about the arm. I'll change that tonight. Index finger - you mean on _her_ left hand, right? Her hand and fingers on that side look way too big anyway, that's gotta change. Think there's something wrong with the chest too.... something I don't like, anyway. Stayed up til 1:30am doing this - it took HOURS!!! Problee why there are so many mistakes... I'm so tired.... *falls asleep*

*edit* okay, sorry to do this, but RARAAGHHH! loads of people at PK are saying she looks masculine! Her face, rather than body... One person actually said she looks a bit like a drag queen! nyaargrh! does anyone else think this? Cause I can't see it, myself! Don't wanna change her face, I like her just the way she is! she doesn't look all ugly and masculine, does she?? or does she just not look "manga" enuff??

My opinion of your drawing is it's great!

The tits are perfect (whole Torso is about perfect). I can't see anything wrong with em. That along with the clothing are the two strongest points, including the robe thing she's carrying. Your clothing is really exceptional.

The problem with the arm is that you've kinda got an optical illusion going. The way the robe/scarf dealy is drawn it appears to be behind your girl. The size of her left arm indicates it's close to the viewer. Makes it look huge (even though it's proportioned about right cept the hand is abit big, but thats just style it don't look bad IMO).

The reason they might say the face looks masculin is because of the forehead, thats really it I think. Either the way it's drawn, or a strand of hair is making it looked like its sred to update those images about 80 million times and it's not coming up. THIS,on the other hand, ought to work... ;)

I tried to see what the PK guys were talking about, and I think Keith has it. It's something around the forehead. I tried moving her hairline a bit lower to see if it'll fix that "masculine" look. (IMO I didn't even notice it until you mentioned it!).

I hope it helps!! It's not much of a change tho =/ If I were you, I would just leave the face the way it is!

This way they give there females a softer more atractive feeling.

Somehow the way you made her face reminds me of alot of graffiti artists and their way of drawing faces.
Personaly I think it gives her a tougher more urban look.

Oh for the chest,
Uhm only two small probs there I think.

First of the nipples seem to be a bit out of place (especial the one farther away).
I think the left one ( ) is too low (should be where the knob of her bra is).

Also you propably want to set the starting point of the right breast ( ) a bit lower (only a very small bit), making the breast smaller and indicate perspective.

Ayzie - thank you so much! that edit's interesting - think I'll have a go at messing with the hairline/jawline in Photoshoppe later tonight... ;) think part of the problem might be the height of that raised eyebrow? but maybe I'm fussing too much...

G.i.A.m - thanks, dude... I disagree too. ;) (but then I'm fairly disagreeable...!) it's pretty cool you think she looks fairly urban, cause that's one of the main things I was going for - urban chic, very modern... and I'll check out the chest too, (left the drawing at home)...

I've updated the image, so the link (yeah, this one) should show the new version with updated arms and hands, also a few lines removed here and there for cleanliness purposes (especially around the foldy material on that tiny top). There may not be _much_ noticeable difference, so forgive me, I'm fussy...
There's also another pic I did last night - a bloke this time! (yay!) believe it or not, he's my (young and good looking) version of Santa. ;) At least, he will be...
something very wrong with those knobbly knees, and problee about 1 million other things I didn't notice last night... so if you have a spare moment...?

The (santa) claus drawing seems pretty cool to (I'm curious how he became santa tho, he looks more like a criminal or rockstar ).
No critics for now on him (I'm pretty tired).
but I'll have a closer look on him tomorrow.

I agree with Song on the hand and suggest having him holding a beer glass, as he is obviously resting at a bar .

Other than this I have only some small nit picking, his belly button seems a bit of compared to his chest.
And I think his right ( ) knee cap goes a bit too far into the leg.

Well besides of these small things I think he looks perfect.
So I hope we see the finished versions of them soon.

yeah, I shall have to work on rockstar santa, give him a less female pose maybe, sort out his anatomy flaws and stuf... when I find the time, that is. He's kinda sitting on an invisible... chair. thing. yeah. no, he is. honest! Hmm.
Halfway through design number three, who's gonna be a rockin' robin... bloke with a guitar and wings, basically. He has no wings, no hair and only one leg at the moment... :\
