Oki lets see,
first note the image of the guy doesnt load completly, the last third is blurred out. From what I see I would say that the pose is pretty dynamic and works rather good.
Also the scetchy lines seem to fit here, only downfall is that it seems like some of the lines have smudged.
Either fix them digital or try to be more carefull when you ink (thats ink right?).
the girl doesnt work.
Your portrait thingy,
Well there are tons of tutorials out there that can help you with photoshop.
comiccolors is a good site for learning the US coloring style, also some of the artists Bomu links, have tutorials or step by step explainations of their technic (not all are so lazy, when it comes to adding site content, like Bomu
) and doing a search for photoshop tutorials or something like that, in google should bring more sites up than you will ever read.
On a personal note I find the color choice on the hair rather questionably.
On getting replys
well first of the board is rather slow because either people are to busy or to lazy to answer.
Also keep in mind that replying is a voluntary thing (i know sometimes that sucks but thats the way it goes).
Not getting a reply doesnt mean your work is bad, it just could mean it doesnt stand out enough or is while technical perfect just to boring.
So if you dont get comments wait some time.
If you dont get comments after a long time, get back to the drawing table and try to improve.
