hey the shading is spot on, could need some darkspots maybe. And well it might be just the pose, but somehow her hips seem a bit to big compared to her waist. And I think her chin is a little bit to pointy, thats more of a personal preference.
But overall it is a good drawing keep'em coming.

Nice drawing Chris looks good all around. I particularly like the pose and the way you drew the face and her figure.
Reminds me of a bunch of different animes
I'll have to agree with Giam on the chin comment. Would be been better if you smoothed it out more since you drew the fingers more flexible also with the hair.
Well here is my crits, 1st I think her left arm is a slight to upward curved from her elbow to her wrist in the lower part. Looks like it's bent into her hand. Stands out to me after glancing for a bit.
2nd. The hair looks cool and the face is nice and soft.. But, I noticed you lost room before you drew in the ear? The ear looks quite small.. and might look better to me if you enlarged it some and bent it up so it's in alignment with her face direction. Appears to look like a kind of cat ear such as it sticks off from the face a bit and too rounded.
3rd. The shading is nice, but I think you might have shaded a bit too much on that right breast cup on the lower left. The light is coming from a front/left up view and since she is turned with that side facing more into the light the shadow on the inner breast side should be less shaded than that on the other. I think you wanted the breastplate to be smooth in towards that center jewel.. Not sure on that though.
Awesome artwork though from your first post. Hope you post up some more as well.

I dont think you shouldve told him off for the chin, theres a bunch of animes where the girls have chins like that, its a style thing I think.

hm still not that comfortable with her chest to waist lines and her chin (yes it is mainly a style thing), but besides of this the angel looks beautifull. Could look phenominal with some colors.
The other drawing is great aswell especial the details, but right now the girl is drowning in the lines of the knight(somehow Im pretty sure I've seen a similar composion/pose for some sort of cover design).

I really love the composition of the second one, and I agree, it would be great coloured. GIAM why dont you do that one instead of another of mine.
P.S. I dont know if ive asked this b4, but what does GIAM stand for ?.

What make you think I would do another one of yours Neo (honestly I think I make a image from scratch for it). Shirai once asked what G.i.A.m. stands for the tread is here.
So enough of the hijacking, I think the main reasons why I thought he was a she are, his face(especial the eyes), the chest (dunno why looks just a bit feminin) and the missing bulk in his pants.
btw. I think the angel would look best in a painter like style(like the one bugsy does )

nice first sketch chris. I like the shading but i agree with G in that her hips do seem a bit wide when compared with her waist and her chin is a tad angular.
i think the angel pic is really good. i like her hair and the way you've done her clothes.
the last skecth is cool as well. i didn't rekon the main guy was a girl. maybe G was surfing some other site at the time and got the two confused?
The pose reminds me of Tetsuo from Akira and kinda thing the nights lower leg is a bit thin.
