I agree with Bomu on the cleanup. U should also add more detail to her hair and clothing folds and stuff. Also, move the mouth up a bit more, so it comes about 1/2 way between the nose and the chin, a bit nearer the nose. Aside from that, u pretty much got the colour scheme down pat, and i like the little effect you done with the skirt. Thing is, she is kind of a dark character, so I would have made her eyes slightly narrower, to convey this. However, this is only a suggestion and I'm sure the eyes u chose may work just as well. Looking 4ward to seeing this in the MVGC. As for me... well, i'm no good with Silent Hill, i was never really into it (i prefer action games like DMC - shows how cerebral I am!), so u may be waiting a bit to see any of my stuff going up...[ 04-03-2003: Message edited by: Angelo ]

Yeh, ur CGing is looking good. She doesn't have any eyebrows though, and u should include eyelashes, to indicate her feminine aspect (just make the lines on the top and bottom of both eyes thicker). The hair needs a little more detail (ie lines to show strands and stuff), but all u need to do is just put in more highlights and make it look as if there are strands. I like the smoothness of the skirt. About the background: What u could do is take a street and make it quite dark. You would need to have the camera angle such that it is at about 45 degrees above her, so that it fits with the pose. Aside from all that, it's good CGing, and you pretty much have the colourn scheme down pat. All that's needed is what I've said and the pic should be fine. If you want better advice, my suggestion is to ask Bomu, G.I.A.m, Bugsy, or any of the (more) experienced members of the board. Later[ 09-03-2003: Message edited by: Angelo ]

hey, this is looking excellent! Your shading is top notch! trying to think, anything else u could do... IF U CAN (AND WANT), add lines in her hair to show strands - however, if u feel it would look crap, don't bother - it looks quite good (tho, next time, just add some lines to show strands - it kinda looks a bit flat atm). Did u go for a frontal angle with the face? If so, my suggestion on that (which I should have mentioned b4 - stupid me ) is to indent the forehead slightly and move the right eye down. If you went for a 45 degree camera, then it looks fine. Overall, it's very cool - I'm glad my advice was of some help . Looking forward to this in the competition.[ 10-03-2003: Message edited by: Angelo ]
