You know everytime I play one of the neogeo 2d beat'em up games (thanks to emulators) and see fanart to the characters, I thing damn they totaly rock, you need one for yourself.

But unfortunaly nothing good came out of my brain sofar nothing that I remotely liked.

But a couple of weeks ago it finaly made click.

Some infos about her:
Name: ? dont have one right now.
Natonality: ? caucasian for sure propably european maybe french not sure about it yet.
Age: 27-34 not sure but definitive adult.
Fighting Style: Two different ones

a traditional Kungfu one she learns in a martial art center. Strong slow punches, can simply block,no counters, few combos, Chi based superattacks.

Second style is a Bruce lee homage, using moves she copied from brucelee movies.
Fast weak mostly kicks, cant simply block can counter, lots of combos, multiply hit based superattacks.

additional notes: her teacher hates it when she use that bruce lee crap and normaly hit her for using it.

Image infos:
ok was kinda hard to pull this out as Im not good in poses.
This is also a first timer, as I tried my hands at digital inking, which I must admit like alot.
Will use it more I guess.

gonna color it when I have time for it.
But if anyone wants to practice abit with it here is a bigger version.

LineArt

Notice to the lineart:
tried something new.
If everything behaves as intended, the file should only contain the lines.
No need to seperate them from the background. Just drop a layer (or two) behind it and start coloring.

The digital inking looks good. I think it'd benefit greatly if you coloured it, as the pose seems a little bit forced without any background or story to it.

Nice bit of lineart m8, lookin forward to a colour version. The kung-fu costume is pretty cool, just shows u don't need over-the-top complicated clothing like some of the characters I've done lol.

tnx not sure when I manage to lay colors onto her have some other stuff right now so maybe will stay in this state for several moth or so (as allways ).

JBinc84 tnx for the comments, the pose is just a standard fighting stance.
I think karate has a similar one, so dunno havent thought of a background sofar.

Angelo costume wasnt that hard in this case as she isnt a superhero/fantasy charakter. She simply learns kungfu and thats the clothing they normaly fight in.

But some of the bad fighter ideas where something like chinese ghoststory and to be honest, I couldnt pull out the outfit for it .

I know what you mean about those old Neo-Geo games. I really like some of the character designs. I'm sure they just dont make characters like they used to when if comes to fighting games.

The lines look cool and I can totally tell this is a Giam piece by the style! My only crit is the fingers on the right hand look a little odd, maybe they'd look a little more realistic if the finger tips were broken circles instead of solid, or if you could see some of the finger nails on top?.. Hmmm. I can quite put my finger on it! ( hehe)

hm personaly I think eyes and nose are perfect, but I tent to draw them allways too big (atleast the head isnt anymore ).

Uh Bomu you can tell by my style didnt know that I have one, and is that meant in a good way? /jk.
But I agree the hand didnt turned out the way I wanted (actually both didnt).
Changing the fingers would be the highest priority, but unfortunaly I allready colored it.
Gonna post it in a second .
