I was looking through my Ghost in the Shell 2 book and got kinda inspired to do a Shirow/cyber type picture. Plus I've always had a heels and nurse outfit fetish so why not? The background's a bit of a mess, but it's turning out ok. If anyone has any comments or suggestions, please let me know before I go ahead and start drawing out a cleaner version.

cheers

hm I see two major problems here.
Maybe its just me, but I think her stomach is way to short (its not even one head long in your image).
the other thing is her shoulder/arm I think it could use a little bit of beefing up aswell.

But apart from those its great and I like the Shirow influence.

Btw can you post your final pencils again (maybe even the not enhanced PS version) for coloring and Inking practice.

could be interesting to see several color versions again .

Oooh, is that a challenge G.i.A.m.? (jk) Hehe sounds cool. Unfortunately, if you posted up a final pencils thing on here, it would take me until Christmas to get around to it, mainly cos of uni and other shit. But, I'll be willing to give it a go.

Thanks for the comment guys.

The pose was referenced from a photo, and she's kinda hunched in the chair, which is probably why she looks scrunched up in the mid section. hopefully if I add some rendering it'll look a little more life like. but yeah, I think maybe making the hand/ arm a little bigger would help with the perspective.

Better get back to working on it! And when I'm done I'll post up the line art (for colouring).

Finally finished! Spent ages on the background since I wasn't happy with the original and 2 days spent on cleaning up my pencil work in Photoshop. I kinda regret spending so long on the piece, but think it was probably worth it.

For anyone interested in adding a little (or a lot of) colour to the piece, The High res (2mb) version can be downloaded from HERE!

cheers

Shirai, Thanks.. Possibly around 3 days on the BG? I did the pencil work straight onto paper and tidied it up in Photoshop- no ink was used in the making of this drawing

JBinc84, In short- Yes! It's been a few years now since I drew one of my personal creations, then inked it. I suppose it's good in a way that no one realises I just use pencil, unless I happen to mention it.

The trouble with ink is, I'm always scared I'll mess it all up and wont be able to correct a mistake.

O..H...M..Y...G..O..D... The details the details.
That propably will take some years to get right (or I scrap everything important and maybe in a month Im done ).

Little tip, for Inking.
If time isnt an issue, I can recommend digital Inking.

It looks great, however, the positioning of the leg looks a little odd..... her knee is a little close to her face, which makes it look like a shoulder, and her real arm seems to be someone elses.... I love the detail work though.

-exactly. It'd take ages I think I might just leave this one as a greyscale pic. I'll save my CGing for more simplistic pieces

Yeah this is the pic that lead me to this site! Its kind of bad in a way though, I can see alot of people hurting themselves in the future to see nurses like that (myself included).
I could have sworn I saw a coloured version somewhere though.

Thats an awesome pic! Like Flashfighter says, the knee looks like the shoulder, but, thats what makes it good. People look at the top half and they think that the nurse is sitting normally, but then they go down and there is yet even more detail. Great job! (PS. If there is a CGed version please give a link!)

(PSS. Wow, a heel and nurse fetish. Well ok... Keep it up! )
