I recently found a really cool site called Void where really good artists fight with comic pages. You have to submit, and stick to a character (though you can make several) and they are formally incorporated into the website, with win/lose statistics, rankings and gradings, and members vote on fights. Its basically very cool. It all takes place in Void City which is semi-futuristic and corrupt. You have to submit a design sheet, a bio, a win pose, and lose pose and 2 intro pages to the admin to join in. Anyway most of the ppl are better than me but I thought Id try anyway. Heres the character Im trying to develop.

Bio: He joined an active human rights group as an idealistic youth, but was badly scarred and mutilated by the authoritarian riot police during a riot, when he was sprayed by a caustic chemical weapon. He lost an arm up to the elbow, and one side of his head was affected. One hemisphere of his brain was destroyed. His autonomous functions had to be regulated mechanically for months as doctors fought to save him, and as he lay in agony, all he could think of was revenge. Due to recent advances in nanotech, solid state computing and robotics, the doctors were able to rebuild his subconscious and replace his arm. His bloodstream was flushed with nanites that repaired damaged tissue. However his deep-seated revenge drive began to bend this technology to a new purpose. The nanites, under the control of his machine-brain, began to build muscle, harden his skin and improve his sense and physical characteristics. Later he added an anti-matter fusion generator to his inventory of implants that vastly increased the power of his robotic enhancements, as well as giving him energistic attack abilities. His eye implant allows him to see in all wavelengths of the electro-magnetic spectrum.

He spends his time using connections in the human rights organisation to get specialist equipment, and to identify targets who at some time had involvement with the government or the police forces. He then hunts them down. Occasionally he is distracted from this by events. But he will never forget....
