also looking good. try and vary the armour you have on your characters a bit more maybe. Also I think the chick's boobs should be rounded even if everything else has that blocky, jagged look. Finally always scan in greyscale. (that peach coloured stuff around the assassin pic makes it look like your scanning in colour)

I like the style though. keep it up!

the fact that you actually drew full body pics impresses me the most and their also cool. The character designes are also very cool too. The colored one looks cool but i think you might want to try a different color scheme but very nice work over all. My problem is from the waist down, legs and feet are hard for me to draw.

Good designs you got here, my favourites are the two with the shields. The girl especially looks pretty good . I can see what you're going for here, it's similar to what I'm trying to go for in my artwork, mixing it up between realistic and anime. Good work so far.

Liking them a lot very cool.

The assassin reminds me of Ragnorok online in fact so does the bowmen with his apple for a hat!

Like the style deffinetly worth following!

The people with shields, i think that the shields are at the wrong angles unless they are holding them on the front of there fists especially the female. Apart from that no real things i have noticed apart from maybe the eyes being a little small unless all your female characters are evil!

Coloured assassin ver cool but would he be wearing yellow a bit conspicuous wouldnt you think?

All in all very cool and i look forward to seeing more!

dyu know i really hate "some" people who produce work like that above. im a complete beginner to this genre, so far it is the battousai himself that towers above. samurai x rocks (apart from the movie, i hate the anime on that one).
i can see theres a lot for me to learn... and what better place.
... although theres aint nowt at all to criticise on your wrk phenomenon, id have no place to judge either cuz your a damn sight better than me, great work!!!

yup. that is a fan art of ragnarok online. tee hee. i did not do the colors. it was made by protius404 at polykarbon.com. my style of art is a mix of western anatomy and anime energy. much like my idol artist, joe madureira. if you wanna see lots of his work, go to joemadfan.com. it's the best site.

ive heard of polykarbon once before, though it was my first visit just then... theres plenty of broken links within, that kinda sucks. that Joe, :O hes very good.
i have to say though... my favourite artist right now has to be "www.deaconblack.com". (im sorry KaiserD but you gotta admit he has extreme talent).
any of you lot who are more into expressionism and generally weird art... a freaky artist at "www.lombergar.com" is the man for you. he does some sweet stuff, though nothing to do with anime.

Dan- I can never get enough of Deacon Black's girls! I own several "Hook-ups" t-shirts featuring his manga inspired girls

err... i'm a boy. hehehe.
i draw to show people what i can do because drawing is fun for me. i get lots of friends with it.
but if i drew something like deacon... gosh! i wonder who'd want to see my drawings. maybe it could get limited. you know. girls wont like it.

also, everytime i try to draw those... my hands shake. hehehe. can't concentrate. especially when i'm on the part below the neck.

I've seen your stuff posted for quite some time, just didn't get to commenting when you posted more up. You seem to be quite good, think you should mix up your positions a bit more you tend to keep doing a dexterity leap pose. I'd take it you're drawing from photo reference/pictures? You seem to like Heman/Greyskull stuff alot.

As for style I'm not seeing much of a drop of anime/manga in here at all really your characters seem to be solid western influence. It's pretty easily shown in the body style you're going with. Hmm, if you want to lean some more into Magna/Anime style try giving you're bodies a bit less flair.. and more curviness.

Your faces are typically well and you seem to have a fair understanding in body perspectives. I find it like sometimes when you're adding clothes/armor it's a slight to front bent towards us. By that I mean alot of the stuff you tend to add is all directed mostly straight/forward it does hold to the body/character tho somewhat. Since armor can vary polished and be very erratic it's hard to tell if you what your showing is just that. But, is there some kind of a back too some of it.

I think you should consider adding in some armor bend lines more to show their is more backbone more perspective to the plate stuff. Usually armor is very specific designed to the wearer and having such hard armor would make it difficult to move or add little protection. Seems to me your armor is very heavy/ almost mech like since you have it so gradually bent from it.

I do like what I'm seeing and do enjoy what you showed here. I'm just saying these aren't your fully originals at least more of them can't say on a few of them. I see some were leaned towards Ragnarok as you've said.

Comments..ok going to take awhile to read all this suggest you look at them one at a time instead of reading them all if care to try to understand some.

    1st Guy
Your first one is pretty basic but well done. I'd only suggest you try to add in more depth into weapons. By this I mean more fluent handle/style is very good on a piece of steel.

    2nd Archer
The archer guy is quite funky interesting. I think the apple is a little low placed. The chest down by the waist seems a little to flat he is drawing his bow while dodging and stretching his back somewhat. I would just like to see more and more of a feel in his waist.

Your legs down is very good their. I think the shoe end is a bit funky and the hard shorts but it does pull well with his overall appearance.

    3rd Caster Girl
The sorceress or priest next is very pleasing! I love the positioning you showed here. The pose, face, and body all goes togeather very good. I like the fact very much you gone for alot of movement and it works great togeather! I like how you have her leaned back with a good flair in the waist. Can't go wrong with having that leg front/forward I do like it how you have the lower robe/skirt pushed by the wind/body.

The only thing that I think could be better is the magic let's have more of a forceful effect or more wild! Her right leg is good but I think possibly you could've gave a bit slight more to her upper thigh and possibly sculpted her knee a bit more fluent. That may be some kind of knee bracer I guess.

    4th Assassin
The assassin, he is quite good I'd like to see a bit more direction on what you intended to go for here. I mean is he jumping, about to strike, do a side kick, strafing a attack, or is he going to do a roll can't tell. He reminds me of D-Dark from Street Fighter, take it as a compliment.

I do like this one quite alot the only things could use a improvement is his gloves/armguards. They are just too solid and brackish being a thief it would make his attacks sluggish and very predictable. I would like to seem them alot slimmer and articulate. Also his leg cloth is a bit pulled funny and his leg has a awkward push. Just, can't really tell what is going on with it but I do believe you were going for a type of parry move. If so I'd like to see the Cape parts on the right fly more against the direction he is moving quickly.

    5th Female Fighter
This female warrior is classic Heman here and pure western. I do love this one but the pose is very redrawn, since I have seen it brief. But, I will say impressive stuff.

Hmm, as I said up above earlier the armor is a bit to front forwarded; some 2nd inner lines would show more depth. You don't have to add alot in a more animated style, I'm just saying a couple are lacking here and their to show her full body.

The only thing to change really is probably her right arm. It seems to be a bit to skewed forceful would like to see a bit more leanness from her elbow/wrist. I believe she was going to mount something almost but it's not shown. I do love the fact how you pulled off her butt and gave it a real feel can't go wrong their in western style.

    6th Knight
    Last one.. whew

Finally the Knight, I think this is your best one over them all and it shows the best skill. I like it how he is turning into a strike it's a good tricky view. The back is well shown and I like it how you have his head going into the turn that makes it look more believable. The chainmail half-coif is very stylish looking. I think you have done the legs very well and it's your best no question, everything flows togeather.

I think you should've probably enhanced the face mask gear and I'd like to see a bit of backlash in his tabard/fold below his waist.

Ok.. and I agree with you Web on the shields.

I hope my comments help you somewhat, I could've said alot more but this is huge enough. Oh, and there is a limit to 8 Emoticons had to remove several lol.

a combo of manga and anime?! dude i'll try to make this comprehendable for u:
anime is when the picture is moving
manga is when it is not.
DOOO YOU UNDERSTAND?!
YOU CANT COMBINE A MOVING PICTURE WITH ONE THATS NOT IN A PICTURE! what you meant to say is manga and western style! got it?
