I originally intended to make this a more comic-book type style but it's ended up becoming a realism piece.

I'm happy with how it's turning out, but if I've missed anything, or you have any suggestions I can consider, let me know.

I'm not happy with the amount of time it's taken me just to do the face and hair, but it's the best I can do for the moment.

Dammit! bomu's applying his perfectionism to mylittle hobby! now Im gonna have to spend ages on everything too

I think its looking really nice man. the hair is superb. on the detail the nose looks ever so slightly crooked, but it won't be noticeable I don't think. And don't worry, I find the face and the hair always takes the longest with this type of drawing, unless your gonna inflict one of your BG's on yourself!

The rendering on the skin is very nice and smooth too, and you managed to make quite a successful translation of comic book style eyes to the piece.

Basically I can't see anything going pearshaped at this stage look forward to seeing the finished product!

edit* maybe go to the colour balances and change the greenish shadows in the hair to more red/magenta?

edit 2*oh and this forum doesn't count for the plugin bet

edit 3 (whats wrong with me?)* I have since decided that her left iris is too far to the left of her eyeball, making her very slightly cross eyed
might just be me though.

Very nice

Like Jats said the right iris thats our right (think Jats was refering to the girls left) is perhaps a little to far right (or left in Jats speak) so the eyes look a little unbalanced.

Hair is amazing, i really should practice more hair i feel so inept!

All in all look forward to seeing it finished

Oh and i would have gone for a slghtly darker shade of pink for the nails but that may all change when you finish them off anyway!

Can't fault the hair, it looks pretty cool, as does the skintone on the face. As the others said, her left eye should be shifted a little to her left, since it looks kind of odd, like she might have a lazy eye or something. Looking forward to the finished article!

Lol Jats

Looking very nice atm Bomu, a good pose too that you've used from the reference. I'm not fully certain about changing the hue on the hair. If you do you would probably have to change the hue on the lips or it would look too shiny compared to the semi-brass. The shading on the hair shadows is best I think I like how you mixed the colors a bit where the hair hits. I'm loving the eyes, even if they are off it just looks funny/lusty gaze and adds to the twinked look.

There is just a few things caught my eye in perspective. Her back is just a bit to stiff if you ask me.. I would've tilted it a bit more since her legs positioning, if she stood up you would get a eyeful or maybe her skirt would rip!

Also, the breast they are bit to flat shaped from the chest. If they were a bit more rotated to the body a touch more I think this would be more pleasing. I think you were going for more of a fall down and get back up approach as if she was turning to look up? No clue if you're going for exact reference or not. But, I think you were trying to go for a more upstraight and a twist giving her breast a more pushed look. Either way it's just slightly odd but it would look alot more flowing if it was.

Liking it anyway hope to see you finish it.. by the way what's up with those shoes?! Is that a popular choice in Europe, I've seen them a bit but hey seems alot of your drawings has them.

OMG she is so hot! I really like it, especially the style of the clothing compared to the skin style and wow... just like the whole pic is breath taking.

Lol. Yeah, Jat's is kinda right! I just think those kinda platform heels look cool I dunno about them being a popular choice in Europe, unless you happen to work in a strip club! Not that I go in a lot of strip clubs... I'm just digging myself a hole here, aren't I? I'll shut up

Anyho- thanks for the comments guys- very much appreciated. Since a few of you have mentioned the eyes, I'll try to fix that. Dekar- you've brought up some good points. I originally had her back a little more bent in a slightly slouched position, but wanted to make her bust stick out more, so straitened the back. I may regret it, but we'll see how it turns out.

cheers

I think the pose and the body is perfect. The eyes, you can really get away with.

The nose isn't quite long enough and the mouth is too high. There's no shape between her bottom lip and her chin which makes it a bit odd..... Also, her eyes are not in the centre of her head, to rebalance that you can just add an ickle more height to the hair.

Skin tones are great, and she's very pretty (darn it ) but overal it's gonna look fab when it's done.

._. o.o 0.0 O.O
Wow.... That is so A M A Z I N G.
I do not know why, but her arm is bothering me for some reason. They are right with the lips, it is a bit too shiny the eyes seem a bit high to me.

Though it is A M A Z I N G.
I wish I could do something like that!

Woah, see you finally finished it off Bomu looks great completed.

My favorite part would have to be the collar on the shirt that is really stylish looking even tho it may be one of the easy details. The arm strap thing is interesting and lace adds a touch to the legs as well.

Seems like every time I try to look up on this picture I end up looking down her waist.. I wonder why. Hail to the shiny heels! I like the fact you airbrushed in some toes pressed togeather nice feel to it.

I'd say you probably improved a good bit from this now Bomu, I hope to see what's up next. I'd just say there is a few things you might want to try with shadows in realism tho to make them look better. The closer a object is a solid object where light can't pass it will be solid/non feathered the farther away the distance between those two it will be more feathered as light bounces and pass around that object like wind. You may want to try that but it's nothing major. I did see you tried to give it that kind of feel.

Anyway that's all I got to say.. nice soft sexy blonde.

Looks really nice mate. I really like the range of textures and stuff you've pulled off on the different bits of clothes. Very nicely done. I also think the door knob is a bit small, like the guy on PK but who cares? lol
