pretty good! You might want to look at other artist styles of eyes and copy them then you can pick and draw what style you like best. Question are you drawing form a palet and what kind is it?

no erock means do u have a slab of plastic that connects 2 ur compy and works as mouse but u can use a pencil instead of a mouse . look em up for a better details.
but i must say work on ur lines, that seems to be the biggest problems on this board is an unsteady hand, not that am perfect or better, just.. not quite as bad some. and yea...*foot in mouth* lol
but keep it up, cloloring is the suger u put on the cake, and surgar can only make a good cake taste better, sugar on a crummy cake that taste bad is well just sweet shit!.

dont use generic pre made effects n crap like lens flare ( guilty once i know ) and gradients n all that crap....its not big and its not clever, it just means you dont have the skills to do it yourself, and therefore means you suck, loads.

-------------------- Ezekiel 25:17
The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

lol sorry to crack the trippy little bubble your in evil one but is there anyneed in posting an eye?? if you wanna get better click here: http://www.deviantart.com/view/21056418/ right the whole eye youve drawn is shoddy and rather pathetic you should spend more time on drawing them and practicing than showing us the same old same again and again.
never use a lens flare on an eye it looks stupid whens the last time someone blinded you with the twinkle in their eye? learn to use dodge and burn and eyes aren't ussually big round blobs they have emotion and character so go and practice

And that's just wat Schizotom gave you.. be careful wat u wish for. haha.
..ummm I personally don't like it. it looks globy and.. very smush. but that can be fixed with practiceing ur lines and stuff.

The blue iris colouring is pretty good, but have to agree it's pretty "blotchy" and lacking crispness. Also, I will agree about lens flares. I don't think there's a member here who hasn't stuck a lens flare in one of their pics when starting out with Photoshop! Am I right? However, they make artwork look really tacky and as Si13Nt said, it just shows you don't have the skills/ or are too lazy to create better looking effects yourself.
I've got nothing against filters providing they're done subtly - i.e a faint grain effect on a wall to give it some texture, but just a grain filter on it's own and calling it a background would truly suck!- my 2 cents
Schizotom, Cheers for the link. That's pretty much how I do eyes already and was surprised to see Ramy using the same dodged lines technique for the 'iris lines'.
