you're lucky to have a howtodrawmanga book i learned from watching shows and the result wasnt too great but i improved over the years and almost became as good as what i did after ben krefta purchace. teacher-> now class wht have you learned today? students-> ben had it easy! comic books dont move and anime is constantly changing.

NZ Matt I think in the first picture her belly button is to high and she is wearing her skirt in such a way that the hem line is level with her crotch. It makes it look as if her legs go on forever. Good pictures though non the less.

Not bad NZ- your lines and nice and 'manga-thin', which is good. Glad the book has been of some help!
Heh, I feel some crits are more due to my original drawing being off
I would have liked to have drawn a more typical female manga figure for the book, but there wasn't time, so just just stuck in a lady I drew for a commission a few years back when I was going through a long leg phase!

i dont know, but i suppose impression plays a forefront value rather than detail in some cases. sometimes it is more interesting to draw female legs longer than they should be, its more eyecatching, even though it might annoy you when you realize it. same things i've seen in "professional" manga pictures. long live long legs!

I'm not a legs man, I guess that makes me bias?

i really dont have a say on that. hell i might be bias on any other part of female body, like the armpit? i'm more of a b..bs man.
