Hi. This is my first post. I unfortunately don't have the original pic this was based on, but I based this sketch on a picture of Chun Li from Street Fighter. The main differences between them would be the eye (it was way more elaborate), the hair (it was up in a bun and I got lazy and couldn't be bothered drawing it) and obviously it was in full colour.

Please tell me what you think.

Looks good! Remember that there is absolutely no shame in copying somethng. It's a good way to learn a style!
The forehead looks very oval shaped- but that may be because it's getting confused with the hair.

Hey, nice work so far. Only thing bothering me is the eye, I don't think the iris should go all the way around the pupil, if that makes sense. The left bit of it shouldn't be there, but the right bit of it looks fine. Looking forward to the finished article.
