Am a bit stuck on this. intend to add a detailed cityscape where those building are, with meteors striking them, and flames and rubble etc, also have a few landing in the sea. need to pick up momentum on it again though, I didn't like some bits and began to get bored. also the girls glasses would have reflections of the sky with meteor trails in it.

water+ smoke= hard!
Remember that if the sky is orange the water will be too- because water isn't actually blue- it's reflecting the blue of the sky. Same goes for the glass in the windows of the buildings. Also bear in mind that the highlights on the smoke will be orange too, rather than a desaturated grey-ish colour you've got at the moment.
now destroy those buildings a bit!

thanks funky your absolutely right, though im kinda waiting for the flames and the flaming meteor trails, then Im gonna think about the coloured lighting a bit more. I find bg's a bit of an ordeal, and Im a bit of a novice at them. theres a lot of detail to put in if this is ever gonna become anything like what it is in my imagination. I think thats whats putting me off lol, but we shall see how it progresses. Im still deciding if Im willing to put the hours in if Im not entirely happy with what I got so far, but maybe thats just my laziness talking!

GREAT there we go(am able to see it, thanks Funkenstein)

great picture!

Tho u might want to make those waves a little more sharp... i spos that would be the word. from how it appears, ur trying to make the waves look like white caps(high wind waves , that cause white foam on top of the water) and any way these waves look kinda mellowed out, not that they look bad, far from it, but i'd suggest u give them a little more roar.
