'nother great pic Bugsy It's nice to see you can show a little diversity by producing cool looking cel style work as well as painter stuffs! I'm sure Aelwine will be pleased.
A little tip- when you do cel stuff, for large areas, use the polygon lasso tool for adding your shadows/highlights, otherwise it'll look a little blotchy (Hair shadow for example). Admitedly even I can't be bothered with the lasso some times, but it really does help- even if you just use it while zoomed in for the larger areas.

That's very nice! I've been thinking lately that I'd like to try out more celstyle CGs, and have found that it seems to be a lot more difficult than it looks. Your pic there is inspiring, though... You've really brought out a lot in the wonderful line art with your CG.
bomu: yeah I try my best getting experience with as many cg styles as possible (the ones I like anyway) ^^;; My favourite style is still the dark/grungy tho XD

great effect with the cel style, however you seem to have failed to take into account the major lightsource in the pic which would be the big glowy magic sword. just think about it - moon - hundreds of thousands of miles away - gives a little light. sword 1-2 feet away - glowing like a lightbulb. it would definetely cause some deep shades on his left side (our right)
