He's Bengosha- Japanese cyborg warrior from the future where monsters, demons and dragons have become a real big problem in Tokyo after a parrallel dimention portal opened up in Shinjuku 100 years ago! His Father was a world famous Samurai master of Yosake Dojo and the secret owner of the legendary Murasame sworld. After his father died in battle while he was still a boy, Bengosha, inherited the Murasame and now acts as an elite defender of Tokyo ^_^

This was a character design for a Dragon Slayer contest at 3d Total.com forums. I thought I'd be a little different and go with some more cyber punk stuff since most entries weren't anime style based for once! Plus the people entering were REALLY good, so I had no chance (Curse you Cyberhues! ) Anyone familiar with the Guyver, Alita (Gunnm) and Metal Gear Soild will be able to see influences, but what's cooler than a fusion of the coolest characters in games and anime?

but only two small things the lines seems to light on some spots and on they are a bit to wave'y at the blades (I know it's just a concept and on the pencils it wasn't a problem but I guess the lines have problems to stay true to the High quality colors).

Hey G.i.A.m, thanks. I didn't expect ya to look though any of the other entries too! Yeah- you're right, when you can see what you're up against it does push you to produce a better end result! And I can see your point with the wavy looking lines- the outlines usually look like that when I don't ink my work. Is it just more or does anyone else do that with pencil work? same goes for the lighter and darker patches, but generally the pencil work was neat enough to colour straight onto.. Next time though, I'll try to make the pencil work a little more uniform. cheers
