Strangely it works for me
The line-art is very nice, good outfit ^^; There's a few things I'd like to say about the cg however. It looks like you only shaded the skin, don't be afraid to use large surfaces to shade the clothing. For the skin, use a bit more contrast ^^; Finally, the background looks like a Cloud filter with an additional Difference Cloud filter to me. Try to be a little more creative for the background, something that doesn't show the "filterness" as much, or maybe a real environment. It'll make the pic so much more interesting ^_^
Maybe alot of c&c, I still like the drawing, tho Welcome to the board!

The link's not working? Well that's tripod for you. Try copying this and paste it as the URL http://strike_b1g.tripod.com//sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/zipaway-dress.jpg

That should work.

Hmmm... Your style is similar to my brother's so I can give give you some advice. Her right, (our left) hand is flat and unshaded. Maybe you were unsure as to how to shade it? Try shading it like you did with the other hand.

As for the clothing design, nice idea! A zip-off dress that changes into a short skirt is somthing I wish my girlfriend could get into But it, too, seems kinda flat. Particularily the lower half. Try checkin out www.polykarbon.com for ideas on shading clothes and folds. That should help.

Hi!! I really like it, but that background just doesn't do it. It's too distracting and doesn't fit the character. The character itself is cool tho!

To rutteger and slick_skizzik, out of curiosity, how come you're using each other's email address'? I thought it was weird that rutteger was answering this, since he's got the same details (and even the same password) as Slick. Same person? Enlighten me.

It's a cool pic but they're right about it seeming a little flat. A bit more shading and lightening and it would be great!

OK here's the story behind myseelf and my younger brother.

A few months ago my parents got divorced. Me being of age decided to live on my own. My younger brother left with my mom. We both share the same e-mail adress because at the time my mom didn't trust what my brother was doing on-line.
Oh and to rutteger: HOWZITGOIN?
