Hey Sin master, nice shading and detail- you've done a great job at showing the face's bone and muscel structures.
One thing that's obvious, that ill sugest is try to avoid the lined paper! If it's blue lined, you can scan it in and delete to blue colour channel in your graphic software, which will get rid of all things blue, but leave the rest of the line art in tact!
Also, I think the ear (his right) is a little too flat against his head- I'd make it stick out more.

Sorry about those ugly notbook lines. I thought of removing the blue channel, but I quickly remembered that I only have Photoshop LE, which came with my Graphire II. Is there any other way to get rid of them?

Actuall,y think there is. I haven't tested it, but if you go to Image- Replace color, while making sure blue is selected in your primary palet (use eye dropper tool on the blue lines to get the blue), then adjust the lightness to 100%- that should leave the black/grey, but turn the blue into white!

Sure sounds it! I used to use PhotoShop 4 LE, and know what it's like! I can't think of an alternative method for getting rid of those lines then.. I'll give it more thought and let you know if I think of something!

Working on anything new at the moment Sinmaster?

Thanks! Actually, I have been kind of toying with a sketch in the same notebook. Nothing definite, but I haven't really had a lot time to 'dive in.' You?

Well I dont know if it works with photoshop LE, but if it has a clone tool than it will work.

Just select an area near the blue lines with the clone tool and copy it over the lines.

Cons. with this technic:
its a fairly dirty way, needs a bit time to master, is overall time consuming.

Pros. with this technic:
works almost always (not like channel delete), when you know how to use it you can erase stuff like akne(on photos) and artist signatures to steal there art(just kidding it works but dont do that please).
