Tee hee hee. I never got around to commenting on this coloured version. But it turned out really great. One thing I really like is that purple dress with bright green trim. The inking is also very nice and smooth.Enjeru looks scary tho- too much eye makeup confuses me! One thing I will say, is try no to over saturate your shadows and try to blend the tones/shadows with a larger airbrush size. I'm looking at the tits here on the larger Rika- you can see the 'seems' where the next darker tone meets the first. If you were to use a larger airbrush, you'd get a more seemless blend, then go back the a smaller one for cleaning up and excess colour on the rest of the pic ^_^ Make sence? Thought not!

well what happen was i was trying cel style and got pissed and did a gausian blur on it...but I'll fix it before i print it for the convention in two weeks. I'm also changing the words to (on the top)"why do u call me Rika?" and on the side "Because your my little plum blossom..."
Enjeru (the guy) calls Leelu Rika because it means exactly that...plus those words are from an old song and i know way to much about copyright laws

hmmm, spicy Great job, only thing I can add to what bomu said about the saturation of the shadows, is that her neck seems a bit thick where she's lying down. Very sweet picture anyway!

On the subject of UK conventions:
There's two popular anime cons- Minami, held every year in SouthHampton, Aya, held anually in Liverpool and there's the comics 2002 con held this June (or July?) and every year. I've been meaning to go to Minami for the past two years, but I'm not too bothered that I've missed them. Previous cons I've been to have been pretty boring, and unless your going with the intenton of making new friends or meeting with fellow anime fans you've known online, then its very limiting. Which is what I've been told. I expect the huge American cons are different.
In the past I've been to the Golden Demon (Warhammer con in Birmingham), Went to the Comics 2001 con in Bristol trying to get a job as a colourist. Been to several other comic/anime shows in London too, which were great when I was a keen comic buying fan!

That is very well done!! I think I like it a lot because I have problems doing a smooth inking job and my proportions are normally wrong.
