I got bored today so i wanted to practice some cg'ing. I can't scan in my wok yet so i cg'd Metalman's sketch which he posted a few days ago.

Hey Akatt, you CGing is comming along great! Real improvments! Only thing I will address is the eye whites. Just add a few millimeter slithers of white next to the pupil.
Everyone seems to come here with potential, then ends up with skill ^_^
Did it take long?

the hair looks ok, but it could be shinyer...if u want that look...

you know what I like most about It.
When you remove the highlights, the colors are way to flat (like some first timer CG's).
But you gave a nice fell of deep and form by adding the highlights like you did. concrats(for this unusual way). from me

oh on the improvement front to confuse you a bit I would blend the highlights on the hair more into the hair.

thanks for all the comments:

Bomu: originally she had whites but they looked too white and outta place. Maybe i should grey them a bit or something.

Metalman: yeah i still have to work on the hair highlights (at least more the the other ones). People on other forums also said the hair highlights were a bit too bunched together.
Oh yeah and thanks for allowing me to cg your sketch.

GiAm: thanks for the congrats and yeah like i just said the hair highlights need to be seen to. Hopefully i'll get a revisewd version up (tho i know this isn't the work in progress section).

one lil trick to white hair, is to not make the shadows gray....but a slightly other color....
like for instance...if you wanted her hair to be white in the pik above...id make the shadow/darker value...a really really really light blue.

thanks for the tip metalman i was talking about the whites of the eyes tho.

Oh by the way. At the other forums that i showcased the pic in everyone was saying how cool the t drawing was. So thanks agin for letting me cg it.
