i just did another collaboration - with Baka from Anime-Kingdom (www.anime-kingdom.net). he drew the pencils and i cg'd it (still trying to get a scanner to work). It was a rough sketch he did ages ago and when i joined the AK Forum he offered me it to cg so there are questionable parts to it.
It not that great cos i was juggling it between exams (and going out) so it was kinda rushed which is a shame. Maybe i'll redo it when i'm finished with the exams but the truth is i'm kinda bored of looking at it.

Metalman - the thing in the middle is the B4K45T1CK. It's this infamous stick at the anime-kingdom forum and the angel is creating it (hey i didn't draw the pic you know!!). As for the detail, do you mean in the cg or in the pencil work? Cos i couldn't help it if it was the pencil.
Intergalactic - cheers man. Yeah, cg'ing eats your time up like a hungry Akatt

dont wanna sound crude Akatt but the cg looks relativ flat and very fast made so far I would suggest switching to a smaller brush size and adding more shades and highlights.
but keep working on it I'm sure you can improve it alot.
btw. conctrats to your grand member status .

lol another fine Grand Member! XD
Good job, but I have to agree with Giam. Switch to a smaller brush and define more of the individual folds... As you can see there are a whold lot of pencilled lines that're defining the folds, while there's only one big highlight. Same goes for the feathers, they don't look like individual objects. Also, add some shades between the folds to give it some more depth.

*Agrees* Try not to bung down a blob here, a blob therewhen adding highlights, or it'll look rushed. Try to shape your shadows and highlights depending how much surface are you have and the shape of the surface area. Lighting effects like this ain't easy, so you've done a pretty good job with it and despite some obvious line art flaws! I'm sure the fact you've made the B4K45T1CK the focal point of the pic is definetly an advantage also! Keep it up.

yeah, totally agree with everyone. Like i said i was juggling this cg between exams. I was revising for like five exams as well as cg'ing. The pic was for a compitition you see and the winner would have their pic onna a t-shirt.
but guess what? tyhe bastards only told me aftwerwars that they could only do three colours.
