Well people say PSP is shit and that you can't do soft shaded Color style with it.
So I try to prove them wrong .

and because I had metalmans drawing allready on the hdd I gave it a try.

and what do you think of it keep the C&C coming.

Hmm I've seen people create the most wonderful art in PSP, so I take it's not shit I never used it for anythign other than webgraphics, a long while ago (PSP 4, ah the old layerless times).
Anyway, I agree that it has a marker look to it (that was the first thought that popped up when looking at it ) Keep up the good work and make the PSP creators proud XD

Hehe, yup, ppl do say PSP is sh!t, but I've also seen some really great works done with it. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter what software you use, but how you use it that counts

This one looks like you've kinda gone for a Vincent Van Gogh painting style look with the smaller brush stokes, which as metlman said, kinda makes it look like marker work! I'd suggest adding a light spec/shine in each eye to give 'em that glossed glass look, add some stong highlights to the hair and try to define each hair bunch with a lighter tone, otherwise it looks like a solid or messy mass (or that might just be 'cos my contranst level's low ). Her shorts look good -dont change those! Umm, and I personally like that soft, well blended CG look, and think it would worked better for this pic and the colours you've used.

hey after you all mentioned I see them as marker style as well

so I redraw it with some suggested changes and more softness (tnx bomu didn't thought changing the brush size would made it smoother).

WOW! I hope I can get that smooth with PSP 7. It looks awsome now!

I'de work that face abit more, does look abit too dark. Can't see the mouth too good now either, Might want to experiment with redrawing it on a layer above that one, in a dark tan or black anti-ailased line, see what that does.

the second version is most definatley an improvment on the first. It looks real cool. I only uses PSP for getting html colour codes. Just one thing - the face looks a little muddied but the rest looks great.
