kool stuff...just think you need to sharpen/define some of the edges more
ive always wanted Painter.... ;/

Yeah, I've never really given painter a try- like most new software, it can be really frustrating to start with so that's what's putting me off.
The building looks pretty cool sinmaster- it's a good tool to use for backgrounds it seems, but I agree with metalman about making some of the edges sharper and the overall less blurry. Did you use any reference for this pic?

Yeah, it is pretty blurry. I'm not sure if my comp can handle a higher resolution, though... I'll see if I can still sharpen it up a bit, maybe knock up the resolution from 100 to 150...

No reference... just started with one idea and miandered my way to another...

You should give Painter a try. I din't like it at first, either--I uninstalled it after my first time trying it.

Here's the update (above), a lot sharper.

When I took it into Photoshop LE for resizing/reformatting, I got curious and used the Unsharp Image tool... the result reminded me of something from a twisted version of the Wizard of Oz...

Hey a good start my only critic is that it could need a little bit more shadowing and lightning stuff (the grass looks quite flat).

but other than this it looks quite good
