the background is pretty sick but maybe you need to adjust the saturation of the blues and reds so that the colours match the background more.

maybe some secondary highlights as a result of the background, reflecting onto his\her jacket (don't know the character so i think i'll cover my ass by putting guy or girl)

Uhm lets see, the thing I would change the most would be the saturation on his jacket.

The pose is very nice but somehow his lower arm looks somehow flat to me (dunno why).

The BG suites the pic very well I would flip it tho to have the dark part behind the cicarette (so the smoke is more visibly).

overall a great work and I like the shading of the folds on his shirt.

Looks great, but could still use a little work on making guys look more masculin. I thought you did a lot better for this one, but untill everyone's conviced he is a 'He' and not a 'she', I think you'll still have to work on it

I think it looks real good.. I mean,, your line work is excellent how do you get your lines like that? Tell me please. AIM: darkw00dz

The only problem I see is the arms look a little too long.. or olded incorectly.. but I mean that's some effort I see put into that there picture.. yeah..

Wow very nice
Well as for making him look more masculine i dont think its really needed the guys in ff7 (excluding barrat) look a bit umm well they arnt screaming body builder. lol
and the arm does look a bit flat, i think its because you didnt give much thought to the rendering you have given the entire forearm the same shading around the outer edges, i think if you shaded in the lower half of the arm or w/e is right going by your lightsource the arm will look right

**i love the pose by the way ^_^

Edit : forgot to mention, the shape of the face seems a little wrong, it hasnt got any definition to it, its just a direct line from forehead to jaw, so perhaps a curve around the eye/nose area where the face line dissapears from viewers sight?

The lineart seems pretty good, though it could be improved with some line width variation. Im not totally convinced by the colouring however. the general idea is correct, but I think there should be more differentiation in hue from the lows-mids-darks. and also they are over saturated as has already been said. It could also be improved with a secondary light source of some kind.

Pretty good job though. look forward to seeing more
